Resistance of peach to winter and spring frosts in different natural zones of the Crimea

The 1978-1979 trials were carried out with 21 peach cvs growing in 3 geographical areas of the Crimea. Minimum winter temperatures in these areas ranged from -22 deg to -24 deg C in early January 1979; in 1978 the lowest temperature was -17 deg. Flower bud damage as a result of spring frosts (unspecified) occurring in mid-April ranged from 10-50%.
