Resistance of rice under decreasing levels of Pyricularia oryzae Cav. inoculum

Resistance of rice under decreasing levels of Pyricularia oryzae Cav. inoculum

Fitopatologia Brasileira 6(3): 323-332

The effects of different inoculum levels were determined by observing lesions at 0, 1 and 2 m from the susceptible spreader rows. Damage was greater under upland than under irrigated field conditions, lesions always being more severe near the source of inoculum. Disease then decreased according to level of resistance of the genotype.
