In the Krasnodar foothills powdery mildew of curcurbits is caused by Erysiphe cichoracearum and Sphaerotheca fuliginea. Benomyl resistant strs. of E. cichoracearum were highly sensitive to Karathane (0.05-0.1%) FDN (N,N-dimethyl-N'-chlorphenyl-guanidine) and pyrazophos.
