Resistance to Pyrenophora graminea in 145 barley entries subjected to uniform natural inoculum

Field resistance of 145 spring varieties was assessed on plants grown from grains harvested from nurseries with spreader rows. A continuous variation in degree of resistance was found. Among varieties rated as highly resistant were Zita, Georgie, CI2253 and CI1615.
