Spectrum of higher fatty acids and individual lipid fractions in blood serum of healthy subjects

Spectrum of higher fatty acids and individual lipid fractions in blood serum of healthy subjects

Zdravookhranenie Belorussii (4): 25-27

Cholesterol, triglycerides, total lipids and beta -lipoproteins in blood serum of 75 men and 64 women, 15 to 50 years old, increased progressively with age. The relative content of oleic and linoleic acids in fatty acids decreased and arachidonic acid increased between 31 and 40 years.
