Bulletin of the Okayama Tobacco Experiment Station (41): 17-28



Grey tobacco is associated with 5 types of physiological disorder: Cl injury, Mn toxicity, Fe toxicity, shiniha grey and sunburn grey. Mn toxicity occurred in virgin fields converted from rice fields. Plants grown in sandy or poorly drained soils, and plants with premature yellowing, produced leaves of the Fe toxicity type.
