In tests the Milko-Scan 104 (Foss Electric, Denmark) gave good agreement on av. with reference methods for fat, protein, lactose and TS determination, but it appeared essential to recalibrate the instrument regularly (e.g. weekly) with a mixed sample representative of the samples for analysis.
