The detection of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus, apple stem grooving virus and tomato bushy stunt virus with ELISA

The detection of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus, apple stem grooving virus and tomato bushy stunt virus with ELISA

Archiv fur Phytopathologie und Pflanzenschutz 15(6): 421-424

SGV was very reliably detected by ELISA from Oct. to the end of Apr. in flowers and leaves of apple shoots forced at 18-25 deg C in the glasshouse. CLSV was detected in flowers of apple, pear and plum by ELISA and the latex test but the former was superior with pear and plum. ToBSV was detected by both tests in the flowers and young leaves of cherry (Prunus avium) but not in other fruit trees.
