The effect of initial seed moisture content on germination, stand and yield of faba beans (Vicia faba) and peas (Pisum sativum) in western Canada

The effect of initial seed moisture content on germination, stand and yield of faba beans (Vicia faba) and peas (Pisum sativum) in western Canada

Vicia faba: physiology and breeding: 101-122

In laboratory and field trials, 4 faba bean and 4 pea of approx. 7, 14 or 21% seed m.c. were examined for germination, seedling dry wt., seed leakage, field emergence and field performance.
