In pot experiments on 3 different soils, maize, oilseed rape, proso millet, rye and Italian ryegrass, grown in succession and each harvested between 41 and 56 days of growth, were either unfertilized or given 15 mg Cu + 1 mg Mo/pot which was applied to maize in a single application, or given at 20% of the rate applied to maize for each of the 5 successive crops.
