The identification of the pathogen Subanguina radicicola (Grf.)

The identification of the pathogen Subanguina radicicola (Grf.)

Yunnan Nongye Keji (1): 24-26

Subanguina radicicola (=Ditylenchus radicicola) was discovered for the first time at Jianchuan County in Yunnan Province, China, in 1979. It infected wheat, barley and some weeds, such as Alopecurus aequlis, Polypogon sp., Poa khasiana, Agrostis myriantha, Setaria viridis, Festuca ovina and Avena fatua. Soon after the wheat was sown on the 9 to 25th of November, the nematode infected young roots from their tips.
