The immature stages of Alophora lepidofera (Malloch) (Diptera: Tachinidae), a native parasite of Lygaeidae (Hemiptera) in Australia

The immature stages of Alophora lepidofera (Mall.) are described for the first time, and the life-cycle is described in part. The tachinid was reared in Nysius vinitor Bergr., N. clevelandensis Evans and Oxycarenus luctuosus (Montr. & Sign.), which are known hosts in the field in Australia.
