In this book the significance and mechanism of plant entry into dormancy, the importance of sufficient vegetative duration of plants for the appearance of their ability to harden and also the effects of growth substances on frost resistance are described. The possibility of increasing frost resistance of plants by treating them with extracts of native inhibitors is discussed.
