The catchment (34 deg 58' N, 136 deg 00' E; area 5.99 ha; annual precipitation 1738 mm) is forested by pure and mixed stands of Pinus densiflora and Chamaecyparis obtusa. Data for 1975-76 are presented, including plots showing the relation of the stemflow coefficient to tree ht. (H), d.b.h. (D) and D2H.
