Variability studies on some quantitative characters in snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus)



Journal of Research, India 17(3): 258-261



Heritability, genetic variability and expected genetic advance of 13 snapdragon cvs were assessed. Significant varietal differences were observed for all characters studied. The maximum range of variation was observed in the final plant height and the minimum for flower size. The highest heritability was recorded with respect to the number of days for flower-bud initiation and the lowest with respect to spikes/plant.
