Variation among genotypes for aluminium and manganese accumulation in burley tobacco

Variation among genotypes for aluminium and manganese accumulation in burley tobacco

Tob Chem Res Conf 33: 26

Laminae from plants of 15 genotypes, grown on limed and unlimed soil, were taken at harvest. The most efficient accumulators of Mn were Gr97A, Ms Burley 21 X Ky10, Ky15 and Gr96A. Ky17 and Ms Burley 37 X L8 accumulated the least Mn. Ky17, Ms Burley 21 X Ky10, and Ky10 were not efficient at accumulating Al.
