Variation in chromosome number of tobacco plants differentiated from haploid and diploid calluses

Variation in chromosome number of tobacco plants differentiated from haploid and diploid calluses

Revue Roumaine de Biologie, Biologie Vegetale 26(1): 83-86

Variation in chromosome number of 101 plants regenerated from the pith calluses of n and 2n plants of tobacco Virginia RP 1349 and Havana was examined. From these calluses >50% of diploid and tetraploid plants were differentiated.
