Variation in muscle potassium concentration in lambs. Genetic relationship with some biological traits: body weight at birth and at four months of age

Four muscles were examined from the carcasses of 28 male and 43 female Apulian Merino lambs. Muscle 40K concentration averaged 3.26 plus or minus 0.33 g/kg (range 2.22-4.87).
