Variation in the anatomical/morphological structure of the needles of Scots pine in provenance plantations in the Kirov region



Lesovedenie (5): 18-25



Studies were made of 1-yr needles of 26 different Soviet provenances of Scots pine growing in a provenance trial in the Kirov region of the USSR. Weather conditions during the growing season affected needle dimensions but not the number of resin canals in the needles.
