Variations in terms of exchange and their impact on farm households in Bangladesh



Journal of Development Studies 17(3): 317-335



The empirical exercise carried out to estimate group-specific terms of exchange in the context of Bangladesh agriculture shows that in the face of an overall improvement in the terms of exchange of the agricultural sector, the terms of exchange of the large farm group improved most while those of the small farm group improved least.
