Variations in the Hill-parameters of haemolymph- alpha -glucosidase kinetics compared with new algebraic methods at three nymphal stages of worker bees (Apis mellifica mellifica L.)

A method using two algebraic equations is given for the calculation of maximum velocity (VM), affinity constant (Km) and Hill coefficient (n). It was used in determining the kinetic parameters of alpha -glucosidae activity in the haemolymph of worker honeybee pupae at 3 stages of development. The results are claimed to be more accurate than those obtained by other methods.
