A comparison of the data obtained on organophosphate resistance in 2 field populations of Culex quinquefasciatus Say after different periods of temephos selection pressure revealed 3 significantly different levels of resistance, represented by LC50s of 0.21, 0.58 and 1.85 p.p.m.; the dosage-mortality lines, including those of the susceptible reference strain (which had an LC50 of 0.002 p.p.m.), were all parallel.
