Variations in the egg horizons of Psorophora columbiae on levees in Texas ricelands

Variations in the egg horizons of Psorophora columbiae on levees in Texas ricelands

Mosquito News: 401: 55-66

A great deal of variation was found in the location and dimensions of egg horizons for Psorophora columbiae (D. & K.) on riceland levees in Texas. This variation appeared to be the result of differences in soil moisture content at given points on levee slopes at different times of year, as influenced by irrigation water and rainfall.
