Variations in the number of native Rhizobium meliloti and other microorganisms in a sandy loam soil

Anales de Edafologia y Agrobiologia 39(3/4): 647-658

In 1974-6 in the Medanos area in an uncultivated sandy loam soil under a native vegetation dominated by Stipa brachychaeta, monthly variations in the number of R. meliloti were recorded and ranged from 200 to 5300 bacteria/g of dry soil.
