Varietal characteristics under French conditions of some lucerne cultivars selected for resistance to two pest insects

Varietal characteristics under French conditions of some lucerne cultivars selected for resistance to two pest insects

Bulletin, Organisation Europeenne et Mediterraneenne pour la Protection des Plantes 10(3): 317-322

A comparison was made between the varietal behaviour of some French cultivars of lucerne with good agronomic qualities and varieties of USA origin selected for their resistance to Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris) and Hypera postica (Gylh.) (variabilis (Hbst.)) These comparisons were made under controlled conditions but field tests were also carried out with the USA variety Team and the French variety Europe.
