An assessment based on fruit consistency, presence or absence of the peduncle, fruit splitting and yield in 18 varieties studied in 1980 on three harvest dates showed that the most suitable for once-over harvesting were UC134-1-2VF, UC105J, Rosso Tovel and ISOP20.
