An account is given of the 65th Annual Session of the IDF held on 4-9 Oct. 1981 in Torremolinos, Spain. 60 working documents concerning 98 subjects in the present IDF programme were discussed and 10 reports on specific subjects, 1 compositional standard and 14 analytical standards were approved for publication.
