A comparison of furrow, sprinkler and drip irrigation for citrus under Cukurova conditions

Furrow, under-tree sprinkler and drip irrigation were applied from 1978 to 1980 to 25-year-old orange trees, Magnum Bonum, growing in Adana. Amounts of water applied annually by the three methods were 498, 373 and 259 mm, respectively, and average yields per tree were 174, 183 and 190 kg.
