A forest plough with double-disc mouldboards

An illustrated description is given of the design of a new forest disc plough developed in the USSR. Instead of using single large-diameter (700-900 mm) spherical discs, it has two double-disc mouldboards. Each of these is a combined spherical working surface consisting of two freely rotating discs of small diameter (510 mm) and having identical curvature; these discs overlap and are arranged so as to form a single working surface.
