A fruit-tree tortricid injurious to Taxus

A fruit-tree tortricid injurious to Taxus

Phytoma (346): 45-46

In May and June 1980, severe damage was caused by larvae of Ditula angustiorana to yew trees (Taxus) in the Nancy region of France. The larvae webbed the needles together and denuded the branches. In Lorraine in 1980, the first adults appeared at the beginning of July and emergence in field cages continued until early August. Oviposition was observed in the 2nd half of July, but might have begun earlier.
