A genetic-sexing strain based on malathion resistance for Culex tarsalis

A genetic-sexing strain based on malathion resistance for Culex tarsalis

Mosquito News: 424: 531-536

A genetic-sexing strain of Culex tarsalis Coq. that links malathion resistance and male-determining genes via a translocation was established. In this strain, females are susceptible and males resistant to malathion.
