A graft transmissible disease of poinsettia in Sicily

A graft transmissible disease of poinsettia in Sicily

Tecnica Agricola 33(1/2): 81-91

Diseased plants were dwarfed with short internodes and deformed and discolored stems and leaves. Symptoms were transmitted from diseased to healthy poinsettias by stem grafting and to Datura stramonium by sap inoculations, and the disease was probably caused by a virus or virus-like organism.
