A method for analysis of the glucoside DIMBOA (2,4-dihydroxy-7-methoxy-2H-1,4-benzoxacin-3(4H)-one) and its main degradation product MBOA (6-methoxy-2-(3H)-benzoxazolinone) in aq. extract from maize is described.
