A method for evaluating the processing tomato

Genetics and breeding of tomato Proceedings of the meeting of the Eucarpia tomato working group, Avignon, France, May 1981: 65-74

The proposed method involves ranking varieties on the basis of an index calculated from data on the most important agronomic and technological traits. The index is calculated according to the formula I = SIGMA bici, where bi is the weighting coefficient of each trait and ci is the value of the trait.
