A method for the quantitative estimation of Globodera rostochiensis and Globodera pallida in mixed-species samples

Polyacrylamide and agarose isoelectric focusing combined with densitometry of species specific protein bands were used to assess the proportions of G. rostochiensis and G. pallida in potato cyst nematode samples. The use of standard species mixtures allowed the species composition of unknown samples to be determined.
