A method of cutting root systems with piano wire in cultivated fields



Japanese Journal of Crop Science 50(4): 575-576



A system by which a wire is drawn through the soil to cut the root system at a given depth is described. The use of 2 different diam. of wire, different methods of fixing the wire and different methods of depth control were compared.
