A micromethod for assessing the hardness of wheat grain through the fine flour content of the meal

Probleme de Genetica Teoretica si Aplicata 13(3): 175-182

Fine flour yield from 25 g meal samples from 12 varieties, each grown at five different sites, depended mainly on the variety and was influenced little by site. Differences between sedimentation values obtained with two different types of mill were not significant. There was a high correlation (r = -0.7) between fine flour yield and sedimentation values.
