A model for low-range cadmium migration in soils: principles and verification

A one-dimensional model for cadmium migration in soil, which may be used for prediction of the cadmium content of soil and ground water beneath cadmium applied land is presented. The model assumes that influent and soil computationally are divided into incremental segments and that cadmium adsorption equilibrium is obtained for each influent segment percolating through each soil segment.
