A model of superchromosomal organization to explain chromosome alterations in mammals

A model of superchromosomal organization to explain chromosome alterations in mammals

5th European colloquium on cytogenetics of domestic animals Proceedings Milano Gargnano, Italy, June 7-11, 1982: 160-166

This paper discusses karyotype anomalies in relation to the model, in which the haploid genome consists of a single, ring-like DNA molecule with its associated protein, attached at specific points to the inner layer of the nuclear membrane.
