A model to determine optimal sizes for the drainage system in a polder

A model to determine optimal sizes for the drainage system in a polder

Polders of the world Volume 1 Polder projects Land and water management aspects: 664-674

A method has been developed to determine optimal values for the main components (sluice or pumping station, canals, main ditches, ditches, trenches or subsurface drains) in the drainage system of a new polder, with reference to conditions in the Netherlands.
