A modification of the crude fiber test for application to flour



Cereal Chemistry 59(4): 318



In the method of the American Association of Cereal Chemists for estimating crude fibre the colloidal material after acid digestion prolongs subsequent filtration before alkaline digestion. In this modification the acid digest is boiled with 10 ml 41% NaOH for 30 min.
