A multilingual glossary of common plant-names. I. Field crops, grasses and vegetables

A multilingual glossary of common plant-names. I. Field crops, grasses and vegetables

A multilingual glossary of common plant names I Field crops, grasses and vegetables (Ed. 2): 235

The crops are given in alphabetical order of their Latin names, and under each crop are listed the vernacular names reported by correspondents to be in use in up to 61 contributing countries. Two alphabetic indexes respectively list all the vernacular names and the main Latin synonyms. The crops are those covered by the International Rules for Seed Testing and hence do not, for example, include potato.
