A new fungistatic substance effective against rust and mildew fungi

A new fungistatic substance effective against rust and mildew fungi

Archiv fur Phytopathologie und Pflanzenschutz 18(5): 343-358

The protective effect of MKF-674 (4-chlorophenylazo-cyanoacetic acid ethyl ester) against mildews (including Erysiphe graminis on cereals) and rusts (Puccinia spp. on cereals, P. antirrhini on Antirrhinum) compares favourably with that of other contact fungicides and may even equal that of some systemics.
