The bulk store for potatoes described is equipped with a forced air circulation system through a main duct to one side of the building and a number of laterals. The air is partially recirculated through the bulk of potatoes, the intake air being humidified before entering the main duct. Heating cables are provided below the ceiling at the rate of about 8 W/m2.
