A new method to determine weed competition



Proceedings 34th Annual Meeting Southern Weed Science Society: 102



An additive sowing arrangement providing a constant population of 100 soyabean plants arranged in a 10 plant X 10 plant grid with weed populations of 0-25 weeds/plot was useful in studying the competitive effects of a variable weed number at constant crop density.
