A new pretreatment and fixation technique for leaf-tip and root-tip chromosomes of some plants of agricultural importance

A technique for pretreatment with different chemicals and for fixation of the pretreated root-tip and leaf-tip for chromosome counts of pea, lentil, Cicer arietinum, Trigonella foenum-graecum, vetch and sunflower is described.
