A new procedure in biological treatment of effluent

The principle of the new procedure consists in establishment of an 'activation zone' of the aeration treatment replacing the 1st phase of aeration in the conventional 1st treatment tank of the activated sludge process. Coarse impurities are removed by a suitable filter installation, and the feeding of the effluent is carried out by an infinitely variable displacement pump from a buffering tank.
