A new species of Avitellina Gough (1911) from Garhwal Hills with a revised key to species of subgenus Avitellina Raina (1975)

Avitellina (Avitellina) bangaonensis n.sp. from cattle and goats in the Garhwal District of Uttar Pradesh, India, is distinguished from A. (A.) arctica, A. (A.) centripunctata, A. (A.) goughi and A. (A.) tatia by numerous characters including number of testes in the outer and inner columns, egg size and various other dimensions.
