Biochemical changes in stored moong and mash varieties due to infestation of Callosobruchus maculatus Fab. (Bruchidae: Coleoptera)

A laboratory study was carried out in India to determine the biochemical changes in stored seeds of 3 varieties of green gram (Vigna radiata) and 2 varieties of black gram (V. mungo) caused by Callosobruchus maculatus (F.). All the green gram varieties had higher levels of infestation and moisture than the black gram varieties.
