Body conditioning: Kino-Quebec and its professional views on physical fitness

The physical recreation training sector within advanced industrial societies makes an excellent subject for the study of the development of professional thinking and of its expression. The analysis of a particular case, that of the rhetoric used by Kino-Quebec to encourage people to engage in physical activity provides an opportunity to bring to light how such public utterances by the professionals tend to become institutionalized.
